Colossians 1:18 tells us, "Jesus is the head of the body, the Church". Throughout our history, the church has gone through much. The history of the church is filled with great triumph and dark persecution. Seasons of theological excellencies and moments of grave errors. No matter the issues, no matter the ups and downs of human inefficiencies, God has always been in control with Jesus Christ as the head of His church. Mankind is bent towards failure but Jesus is not, and has never been, "less than". Throughout History, at times of great upheaval, we find two things coming to be. One, the body of Christ returning to true discipleship, coming together, reading the Word and standing on the principles found in the Scriptures. Two, the Spirit of God reviving the hearts of men and women, those who's hearts are lit ablaze, reuniting as the body with eyes and affections fixed firmly on Jesus, the incomparable Christ!

Michael Luty is the senior pastor of Open Door Community Church located in Deville, LA. After college, he served as the youth pastor for twelve years, in the same church he now pastors. Michael was called to the pastorate four years ago, and has served God and His sheep with humility and truth.
Matt McNeely is the associate pastor of Abundant Grace Church located in Deville, LA. Matt wears many hats in his ministry but has served as a Sunday school teacher for eleven years, teaching God's word to His people. He prayerfully accepted the call to the pastorate three years ago and as a shepherd, feeds his sheep as God directs.
Jessie Higgins is the senior pastor of Victory Tabernacle locate in Jeanerette, LA. He has served his local church in many areas since his conversion including, mission trips, music ministry, preaching appointments, and more. Jessie was called to the pastorate over nine years ago to the same church he grew up in. Now preaching from the same pulpit he learned under.
